Britain is still lagging far behind other parts of the world when it comes to women starting businesses.
That's despite Government schemes to substantially increase the number of women-owned businesses by 2006.
Now, website handbag.com and Barclays have launched the 2004 handbag.com Barclays Business Plan Awards in Mulberry Fake Handbags an effort to address the matter.
The awards will offer enterprising women a huge boost towards business success.
The awards comprise five categories and aim to increase awareness of the support available for business start-ups, as well as those already in their early stages.

A recent poll conducted by handbag.com showed that 95% of women had considered setting up their own business.
But over half of them were discouraged from doing so by lack of cash.
